"It is anticipated that the fourth industrial revolution will change the way we live forever, looking at its increasing influence in every aspect of our lives. However far-reaching its impacts may already be, the concept is fairly new with global economies trying to get to grips with it,” said Marwan Bin Jasem Al Sarkal, the chief executive officer of Shurooq, the event organizer.
“The Sharjah FDI Forum this year will function as a one-stop shop for answering questions and for gaining expert insights into the future in light of the unprecedented proliferation of rapidly advanced technologies like AI (Artificial Intelligence), robotics, IoT (Internet of Things), and more.
The two-day forum is set to help investors identify and capitalise on an array of prospects and markets from Sharjah and the UAE to the rest of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region,” Al Sarkal added.
The forum is a two-day event and will end on Wednesday.
