Sheikha Lubna wins entrepreneurship award

Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Economy and Planning, and Chief Executive Officer of Tejari, (www.tejari.com) the Middle East online business-to-business marketplace, recently received a special entrepreneurship award from the United Kingdom’s House of Lords. 

 

Lord Ahmed of Rotherham, the renowned Muslim Labour peer, specially invited Sheikha Lubna to the House of Lords, where she was honored as a role model for aspiring women entrepreneurs in the region and for her contribution to the development of e-business in the Middle East.  

 

The entrepreneurship award is a highly privileged honor presented by the House of Lords to individuals who demonstrate exemplary leadership and innovation in their respective fields.
