ALBAWABA - Job interviews can be hard, even stressful for people who aren't used to them, but they are part of life, and someone should make sure to prepare themselves for it and any questions they might get asked, even strange questions.
It's one thing to go into an interview and get asked a question you might have expected to be asked going into the interview, but it's another matter when you get asked something really weird by the company's human resources such as "What kind of animal best represents you?" Strange, unrelated to the job, kind of questions that are meant to catch you off guard.
Here are some of job interview's strange questions
1. What kind of animal/fruit represents you?
2. Do you like cats or dogs?
3. If you could go to the moon, would you?
4. If you could see the world in one color for the rest of the time, what would it be?
5. Two people in big trouble and you can only help one, who would you save?
The point of these strange questions and how to answer them

As mentioned earlier, while not always, usually the point of these kinds of questions is to catch you off guard and throw you off balance, and see how prepared you were for the job interview. The interviewer wants to see how you react, so it's important to stay calm, and not show any confusion on your face or in your tone of voice.
But don't misunderstand, catching you off guard isn't always the reason you might get asked such questions. Sometimes the interviewer is hoping to see how you could think outside the box, or the question could have a hidden question in it that you might not even realize, so it's also important not to answer right away, and think before saying anything, and when you do answer, answer in a way that shows your skills.
Don't be afraid to try and buy yourself some time before answering, and also keep the job and the company in mind before answering, as whatever question you are asked is for them to determine if you have the right skills to work for them.
What not to say or do during job interview

When asked by some of these strange questions, there is a lot you can say, and here are some things you should NOT say or do:
1- Don't take the question too seriously. Give a good answer, but don't overthink it.
2- Don't say too much. It's important to know when your answer is good enough and that saying any more would only make things worst.
3- Don't show you're confused or unsure how to answer.
4- Don't answer with "I'm unsure", almost any other answer that you might come up with would be better.
5- Don't answer right away. Take a minute to think about the question first, even if the answer seems obvious.
It could be said that how you handle these strange questions is very similar to how you should handle most questions you might get asked in a job interview and that you shouldn't let them cause you more worries than they deserve.
