SUBOR Company wins contract to supply fiberglass pipes in Irbil

According to Al-Yaum newspaper, SUBOR Company, of which the Saudi Arabian Amiantit Pipes Company owns 50%, has recently won a contract to supply 32,500 meters of fiberglass pipes for the main water system project in Irbil Afraz in Iraq.

 

The contract is valued SR 32 million ($9 million). SUBOR submitted the most attractive offer for the bid called by FluorAMEC Company. SUBOR has been manufacturing pipes since 1997 at its modern production plant located in Sakarya (Northwestern Turkey) established over an area of 74.000 m2, with a production capacity of 350,000 m GRP pipes per year.
