Syria's Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources, Ibrahim Haddad declared that cooperation among all the producers and consumers is the only way to overcome the crisis related to the stability of oil supplies, and to strike the required balance in the world oil market.

In a statement to reporters on Wednesday following his return from Cairo, where he took part in the 73rd meeting of the ministers of the Arab oil producing Countries Organization, OAPEC, the Minster said that the sensitivity of the international circumstances requires a serious work so that OAPEC would be an Arab economic example to follow in understanding and alliance.

He pointed out that the decisions which were taken during the meeting were constructive, indicating the great efforts which are being exerted to maintain the stability of the world oil markets.
