A video was posted by the company online showing an Optimus robot handing over popcorn at a Christmas market in the LB12 shopping center, also known as the Mall of Berlin.
Optimus was seen placing popcorn inside small boxes and handing it over to visitors, in addition to another gift.
Moreover, the Tesla robot was seen posing for a selfie with one of the customers.
A long line was formed in front of the booth; however, it was unclear to what extent Optimus was autonomous, or even partially remotely controlled.
While Tesla's electric car sales are expected to decline again this year, CEO Elon Musk has declared that Tesla's future lies in self-driving taxis and humanoid robots.
Musk explained that he hopes to begin producing these robots by the end of next year, according to the German Press Agency.
