Chairman of Turkey’s Exporters Union (TIM) Oguz Satici has predicted that the Republic’s exports will reach $47 billion for 2003, a record return, reported Aksam. He also said that he hoped next year’s exports will generate $50 billion.
Turkey exported $37.6 billion worth of goods in 2002 with Germany and the United States among its largest trading partners. Main export products include apparel, textiles and foodstuffs. — (menareport.com)
