TNT Express, the world’s leading B2B express delivery company, has upgraded its trucking service to Oman from the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The company will now transport heavy-weight consignments to Muscat using 40 foot state-of-the-art bonded trailers, complete with GPS tracking.

The new upgraded service will see an increase in total capacity of up to ten tonnes from four tonnes.

“Our economy express road products from all other GCC destinations to Muscat have doubled in volume this year. This is a significant contribution to our annual revenue growth. It is widely anticipated that these growth rates will prevail for another three to four years,” said Mark Pell, TNT’s Managing Director-Gulf.

“TNT’s Middle East Road Network (MERN) is the backbone of the company’s regional strategy and we will continue to invest in our economy express freight service.”

The daily trucking service to Muscat also includes the company’s ‘Day Definite’ door-to-door facility, with customs clearance and full track and trace visibility.

“To mark the launch of this new upgraded service, we will be offering competitive rates on this route, which further makes TNT the most economical express provider in moving heavy-weight consignments to and from the Sultanate,” added Pell.
