Iraq Work Group, established by ESCWA with the support of the United Nation Development Program in Iraq, organized several training sessions aimed at developing administrative skills of senior officials at the Iraqi ministry of planning and development cooperation, reported the Jordanian news agency, <i>Petra</i>.
The training sessions were held following requests by the Iraqi ministry. The Work Group has been operating in Iraq since 2003 in order to follow the developments in the country and prepare a working program to support social development projects.
