According to Kuwait's Al-Qabas newspaper, the Tunisian Investment General Authority has recently sold Al-Hamra Hotel in Sousa region in Tunisia. Real estate market sources estimated the value of this deal at $14-$15 million.
This hotel was previously owned by the Tunisian-Kuwaiti Development Group, which owns 10 hotels distributed in the most important tourist areas in Tunisia in addition to direct investment portfolio in companies mostly working in the tourist field.
The Tunisian-Kuwaiti Development Group is the largest company in which the Public Authority for Investment in Tunisia is contributing with more than 75 percent of its total $50 million capital.
