Turkey hopes to receive 50,000 to 100,000 Chinese tourists in 2002

Turkey’s Tourism Ministry has expressed that if it succeeds in bringing 50,000 to 100,000 Chinese tourists to the country this year, it will fill it’s expected quotas for the year, reported Cumhuriyet

 

China added Turkey to a list of tourist destinations that the Beijing government recommends to its populous nation last September. Last December, the ministry allocated one million dollars to promotional activities in China, including the establishment of a Turkish tourism office in the Chinese Republic. — (menareport.com)
