The General Exhibitions Corporation (GEC), is in the final stages of preparing to participate in the forthcoming “13th Exhibition of AGCC”, held in Doha from 26th-31st December 2004, as part of the ‘Emirates in Qatar’ Pavilion, with the Made in UAE team.
This participation aims to enhance the relations between the two countries and that includes all aspects of the economic, political and commercial relations. “The participation of Made in UAE, also cements the commitment by GEC under the directive of Lt General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the General Exhibitions Corporation (GEC), in always exploring new markets, in which to introduce national products, which are fast becoming very competitive in the international market place. GEC also enjoys the full commitment from its Board of Directors, as well as all Government authorities, which avails new opportunities for the national industry to spread further into the Arab and international markets”, commented Ahmad Humaid Al Mazrouie, Director General of the General Exhibitions Corporation (GEC).
With GEC organising the country’s pavilion in co-operation with the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, supported by the Ministry of Economy & Planning. The pavilion will occupy an area of 1,000 sqm, thus providing enough space for more UAE companies and establishments to participate and benefit from all the privileges provided by the organisers.
