The Middle East’s Asian pay-TV bouquet Pehla revealed an agreement has been reached to exclusively encrypt the popular London-based Urdu satellite channel ARY Digital. As of March 27, ARY Digital’s satellite program package will fully encrypt on the Pehla bouquet managed by Arab Digital Distribution (ADD) across the Middle East.
The encrypted program lineup from the Asian family channel ARY Digital will include the Urdu version of the hit show ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’. “ARY Digital offers 24 hours of unique entertainment as well as a rich mix of Urdu entertainment programs covering news, cartoons, films, sports, drama, music, fashion and sitcoms,” noted Salman Iqbal, ARY Digital CEO.
“Pehla bouquet is the strongest Asian TV entertainment proposition in the region,” stated Vinod D’Mello, executive vice president for marketing and network development of ADD.
By tailoring their television packages to suit various markets, ADD focuses on packaging and distributing television channels across the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
