All 372 luxury-apartments in Union Properties’ The Tower property, situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, are being cabled by E-Vision, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s only digital cable TV provider, to offer tenants immediate access to the high quality digital TV service.
“By engaging us to install cables now, whilst the building is still being constructed, Union Properties are ensuring residents of The Tower can enjoy E-Vision as soon as they move in,” said E-Vision’s Chief Executive Officer Humaid Rashid Sahoo.
Each one of the three bedroom and one bedroom apartments in the 52 floor building, with the first stage due to be completed in April 2002 and the second scheduled for August 2002, will have access to E-Vision in all bedrooms as well as the lounge area.
Tenants of The Tower can subscribe to the E-Vision basic package of nearly 70 channels, including movies, sports, news and entertainment, which has been developed to cater for the needs of the diverse population of the UAE, for 50 Emirati dirhams ($13.6) a month. E-Vision is currently available in most parts of Abu Dhabi and Dubai and selected areas of Sharjah. — (menareport.com)
