The University of Michigan Business School (Ann Arbor), ranked among the world's top three providers for executive education by Business Week since 1991, is to stage its first leadership program in the Middle East later this month.

The Business School‘s program, Management of Managers: The Challenge of Leadership, which will be held at the Fairmont Dubai, Dubai from April 22-24. The program will be conducted by Professor Neil Sendelbach. The Dubai-based Leading Concepts is organizing the program under an exclusive UMBS partnership.

“The premise of Management of Managers is that successful companies believe in the importance of people—both within the organization and in the marketplace,” said Sendelbach.

“Effective leaders understand the subtleties of personal interaction and how they relate to the performance objectives of their organization. They need multiple skills to allow for flexibility in successfully managing and leading in diverse situations.”

The University of Michigan Business School’s program in the Middle East is a hands-on three day event for middle and senior managers that provides an integrated leadership framework to enable the participant to identify and formulate a personalized action plan, allowing him or her to understand the challenges of leadership at three levels—individual effectiveness, organization culture and organization outcomes,” commented Sendelbach. — (menareport.com)
