US-based oil refining technology firm SulphCo has recently formed a joint venture with Kuwaiti nationals to deploy SulphCo products in the Middle East.
Complying with Kuwaiti legal regulations, the new entity will be 49 percent owned by SuphCo and 51 percent owned by Kuwaiti investors, reported a press release.
SulphCo provides a patented technology using ultrasound to significantly reduce sulfur compounds in crude oil while simultaneously increasing the amount of usable oil by conversion of the heavy hydrocarbon components of the crude oil to lighter components. — (menareport.com)
