The US Commerce Department will lead a Saudi delegation to the International Franchise Expo in Washington DC from April 11-13. The purpose of this mission is to introduce the delegates to US franchisers interested in the Saudi market. More than 300 franchises are expected to exhibit at this three-day event.
Commercial Specialists of the US Commercial Service, Maher Siblini and Mawada Al-Wazir, will travel with the delegation, which consists of representatives from 17 of the leading Saudi Arabian companies interested in franchising.
Mawada works for the Commercial Service in Jeddah. She counsels and assists US business people on the Saudi market and best opportunities for American companies interested to establish a presence in the Saudi market. In addition, she advises US firms on potential investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
Maher serves as a Commercial Specialist with the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia and has been with the US Commercial Service for the past 14 years. Maher’s primary responsibility is to counsel and assist Saudi businessmen in locating US suppliers of merchandise and services and to assist the US business community by providing general information about present and future needs of the Saudi market. — (menareport.com)
