Value of land transactions in Dubai

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week amounted to Dhs368.34 million, of which sales exceeded Dhs188 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs149.81 million, according to the Land Department. 

 

A total of 40 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Karama that was sold for Dhs29 million.

 

During  the period, Al Karama recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs29 million, followed by the Al Nahda First area, Dhs21.29 million, and Port Saeed area, Dhs16.05 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 44700 sq ft in the Al Saffa First area, which went for Dhs5 million. A 40000 sq ft plot in the Ras Al Khor Area was acquired for Dhs12 million, while 25048 sq ft of Al Nahda First was disposed of for Dhs21.29 million.

 

During the period under review 12 mortgages worth Dhs149.81 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs61 million for an area at Ras Al Khor. There was another for Dhs41 million on an area in Al Twar First and a further sum of Dhs14.3 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Qusais First.
