Venezuela's President Chavez removes PDVSA President Ciavaldini.

General Guaicaipuro Lameda New PDVSA President Chavez announces PDVSA Shake Up Chavez to travel on Monday to the US. 

 

Venezuela's President Hugo Chávez announce Sunday in his Sunday Nation Wide Radio Broadcast Program " Hello President" , that he was replacing Hector Ciavaldini from the Presidency of PDVSA and appointing General Guaicaipuro Lameda in his place.  

 

The announce was made during his Sunday radio program where he mention that a " Now that the collective contract situation is finally resolve with PDVSA workers, I'm going to restructure PDVDSA to the end" he added, " We will begun today at the presidency".  

 

He did acknowledge Hector Ciavaldini work while in PDVSA as its president and said to him " A hug and I'm grateful Hector". 

 

Chavez also said, that on Monday he will travel with General Lameda to Oklahoma to the swearing of General Contreras Maza has president of CITGO and will meet Oil leaders in Houston.
