ALBAWABA – A new video posted by the businessman and philanthropist Bill Gates on Instagram has taken social media by a storm, showing the billionaire drinking a cup of Indian Chai, prepared by internet famous Dolly Chaiwalla.
Dolly Chaiwalla, who is seen preparing and serving the Microsoft co-founder with a glass cup of tea, is a tea vendor from Nagpur, India, who has gone viral online multiple times due to his quirky unique style of making tea and his remarkable look dressed of large sunglasses, golden neck chains and waistcoat while pouring tea from a high distance.
The viral video, which has gained over 2.6 million likes and almost 10 thousand comments, shows Bill Gates ordering “one Chai” during his ongoing visit to India, captioned “In India, you can find innovation everywhere you turn—even in the preparation of a simple cup of tea!”
Text embedded in the video writes “I'm excited to be back in India, home to incredible innovators working on new ways to save and improve lives and even make a cup of tea,” concluding with “looking forward to many chai pe charcha,” which translates to many ‘conversations over tea’.
