ALBAWABA- Riot Games are considered one of the biggest game developers on the planet with League of Legends becoming the most-played PC game adding up to a whopping 150 million registered players!
League fans will be happy to know that they are getting a free-to-play 2V2 Team-based fighting game under the name of Project L where they can play their favorite champions.

Project L recently debuted at Evolution Championship Series 2023 (Evo) as a playable demo for players to try out and it received nothing but praise from gamers and gaming YouTubers alike!
Yasuo is joining the roster!
Riot confirmed that the Japanese swordsman Yasuo will be joining Ahri, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, and Jinx in Project L's roster. This did not come as a surprise since Yasuo is one of the most popular champions in League of Legends.
Alex Jaffe, lead champion designer on Project L said "Yasuo is a master swordsman who manipulates the wind with his blade".

He also stated that Yasuo will be able to "cancel in and out of a versatile stance, giving him tools for every situation. He can outplay with mixups, go to the air for really technical combos, play defense with his wind wall, or honestly just win neutral with huge normals"
If what Alex said previously sounded like gibberish do not worry, Riot created a straightforward video explaining how to play Project L to fans unfamiliar with the fighting game genre.
Although Yasuo is loved by many League players, he is also equally hated by the community and is considered one of the most banned characters in the MOBA since playing against a skilled Yasuo player can get irritating very fast.
Will he also be hated for his kit in Project L?
Riot Games' League of Legends universe is massive
Since its release, the League of Legends universe got a Netflix series by the name of Arcane, based on its lore and characters making it an instant hit with its gorgeous visuals and engaging plot. Riot confirmed that Arcane is coming back for a season 2!

Riot Games are not leaving MMORPG fans out of the universe since it is confirmed that they are developing an MMO based on League of Legends' vast map and characters. Unfortunately, there is currently not much news about it.
