Yemeni Prime Minister, Abdul-Qader Bajamal, recently launched the Labaous Water Project. The $63 million venture is being carried out by the International Contractors Association Company (CCC), reported Al-Hayat . The Regional Director of the Company in Yemen, Hani Shehada, said that the project is being financed by the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development, the OPEC Development Fund and the Yemeni government. The Labaous water project assures water supply to 120 villages with a total population of 100,000 inhabitants. — (menareport.com)
