The Yemeni government decided to privatize the wheat silos in Hudaida and Aden by selling them to local and foreign investors, reported Al-Hayat. The Yemeni Privatizing Higher Commission decided to sell the wheat silos based on a number of conditions including employing local labor, protecting Yemeni labor rights and providing investment programs for developing and diversifying the capacities of the silos. Local and foreign individual and company investors have been solicited to bid for purchasing the silos by April 22. — (menareport.com)
