Yemen's foreign trade during the Jan.-Dec. 2004 reached YR 1.148 trillion, a Yemeni Central Bank report showed Tuesday. The report said Yemen's exports have increased to YR 629.8 billion compared to YR 527.8 in the same period last year.
The size of imports reached YR 686.5 billion against YR 518.9 billion in the same period of 2003. According to the report, the surplus in trade balance reached YR 110.9 billion versus YR 35.6 billion last year.
