(MEBG) –Iran’s Zahravi pharmaceutical plant exported $200,000 worth of various kinds of medicine in 1999, reported the Iraninantrade.org Internet site. The drugs were exported to Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and other countries neighboring Iran.
The pharmaceutical plant has demonstrated increasing export potential. Since the start of the current Iranian calendar year, $150,000 has been exported, and a figure of $300,000 is expected by year-end.
The company’s activities are widely expanding, as shown by the plant’s recent signing of three agreements with Dutch and Swiss firms for joint ventures for the production of various medicines.
