Saudi Arabia’s Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) has produced its 500,000th room air conditioning Unit for 2003.
“We can all be proud of these great achievements by our Consumer Products Business Unit production team, which has set these new records for Zamil Air Conditioners and which has also elevated our leadership status among the entire air conditioning manufacturing base in the Middle East,” said President of Zamil Air Conditioners, Ahmed A. Al Zamil.
As one of six strategic business units of ZAC, the Consumer Products Business Unit is primarily responsible for supporting the production of the company's Classic and Cooline range of window air conditioners and mini-split systems. It is also involved in original equipment manufacturing (OEM) for a range of international branded products.
ZAC was founded in 1974 as one of the first air conditioning businesses to be established in Saudi Arabia. It designs, manufactures, tests, markets and services a comprehensive range of air conditioning products, which range from compact room air conditioners and mini splits to large scale central air conditioners, chillers and air handling units for highly specialized applications.
