ZF-Algeria JV opened

ZF-Algeria, a joint venture between the German ZF Group and the National Industrial Vehicles Company (SNVI), officially opened Tuesday in Rouiba (Algiers). The ceremony was attended by the German ambassador in Algeria, general manager of ZF-Algeria, and vice-chairman of ZF-Germany. ZF-Algeria deals with assembling, gradual industrialisation, marketing and after-sale services of ZF gearboxes on lorries and buses. 

 

Established in July 2003, following agreements concluded in April 2001, the new JV will receive the necessary industrial equipment to start production in 2005, APS reported.
