Continual Improvement Symposium to be launched tomorrow

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Said Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the honorary sponsor of Dubai Quality Group "DQG", Continual Improvement Subgroup, a subgroup of DQG, will organize the second session of the Continual Improvement Symposium tomorrow, in Le Meridian hotel, Dubai.

The event seeks to share the best practices and learn from practical experience of continual improvement applied by several leading organizations and in various sectors within the UAE. DQG is very keen on organizing this event annually in an attempt to contribute to the enchaining the organizational excellence standards in business community.

The event will witness the "Quality Test" competition which includes four categories: Kaizen, breakthrough process improvement, innovation in products and services and quality general test.

Winners will be selected based on measured and accurate bases as well as "Continual Improvement" standards, since Kaizen depends on creativity, accurate implementation and continual education. The competition relays on competitors' performance in the presentations and "Question and Answer" part, as all competitors will be able to answer the questions and inquiries of audience in order to maximize and communicate the benefit.

A number of global experts in continual improvement will participate in this event on the top of them Mr. R. B. Madhekar, Chief General Manager of Maruti Center for Excellence, and Dr. Gannur Siebert, CEO of Aspin Foundation in the MENA. The event will also witness the attendance of representatives from the government and private sectors as well as stakeholders and people specialized in quality and continual improvement.

DQG organizes this event on the occasion of annual world celebration of the World Quality Day in November. Several government authorities and local and global private organizations as well as a considerable number of experts and stakeholders will participate in this leading symposium.

DQG celebrates the "World Quality Day" for the purpose of optimizing the concept of quality at organizations operating in the UAE and providing them with everything new in this field to enhance the culture of quality and implement its standards in all aspects of life on the individual and organizational levels at large.

The symposium is organized under the auspice of Intercool Contracting Limited and Mini Tab, while Le Meridian Dubai Hotel will host the event.
