Dubai Knowledge Village supports workshop on Ramadan Etiquette and Cultural Awareness

Eton Institute, the leading training and development centre in the UAE, today organised a workshop on the appropriate etiquette to be observed during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Organisedin partnership with Dubai Knowledge Village (DKV), the region’s premier destination for human resources management and a member of TECOM Investments’ Education Cluster, and the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the workshop was held at Dubai Knowledge Village and attractedthe participation of over 200 individuals.

Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Managing Director, TECOM Investments’ Education Cluster,welcomed participants to the interactive four-hour session titled Ramadan Etiquette and Cultural Awareness.

The workshop specifically aimed to build cross-cultural understanding, integration and communication between theEmiratis and expatriatesacross the UAE. Additionally, it provided an insight into the values of Islamic culture and traditionalArabic customs.
