An elderly Saudi woman caught a thief while he was trying to flee her home.
He had already gotten away with pinching three grand in Saudi currency --3, 000 Saudi Riyals -- but what’s surprising is that she didn’t end up punishing him for his misdemeanour or demand he get a dose of justice Saudi-style!
Instead, according to reports by Ain Ha’il news, she proceeded to give him a reward for his troubles.... another five thousand extra Riyals to his booty!
But not before attempting to call the coppers on the crook! The old merry widower -- clearly a fair type-- did question the thief's motives for robbing her home, and that’s when he broke down in tears and confessed that his mother was ill and he needed all the money he could get his hands on (clearly) to treat her.
So touched by his story, the house owner dug deep for that burglar's bonus-- doling out some “extra” money to treat his ailing mother.
