Leading by example, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler's young daughter Shaikha Shamma bint Mohammed met with labourers in the UAE as part of the UAE Food Bank initiative - launched by her father earlier this month.
Applauding her daughter's generous gesture, the proud father posted a video of her daughter on Instagram - arriving in a school bus with a group of young students with boxes of food and essential supplies at a construction site on Shaikh Zayed Road.

Sheikh Mohammed's Instagram post said:

'Proud of my daughter Shamma who contributed today in the first volunteering activity as part of UAE Food Bank initiative. Our philosophy in the humanitarian work is simple .. Always lead by example.'
Flanked by officials, the young member of the Dubai royal family visited the construction site wearing a white t-shirt topped with an official UAE Food Bank jacket over a pair of trousers. Complying with safety rules, she also put on a white helmet.

In the video, the young Shaikha can be seen interacting with the excited workers and as involved in the distribution process as everyone else present in the group.

With his wife Shaikha Hind as chairperson of the initiative and his children - getting on the ground - involved in the implementation process, Shaikh Mohammed's ambitious and noble UAE Food Bank initiative is bound for success.
