A father and his son were arrested for breaking into a house in Tripoli’s Mina and wounding the homeowners, the Internal Security Forces announced Sunday.
The agency’s statement said that on Nov. 12 a Lebanese citizen identified as M.M., born in 1958 and his son M., born in 1994, broke into a house belonging to A.F., born in 1933, and his wife Kh.L., born in 1943. M. was armed with a gun when he broke into the house using a key he had copied. M.M. stood outside as a lookout.
The statement said that when the couple realized someone had broken in, M. attacked them with a sharp object, wounding their hands.
He then fled, leaving his gun behind. The two were arrested on Nov. 23 in Beirut’s Ain al-Mreisseh area, and reportedly confessed to the crime.
