Authorities discovered hashish inside sandwiches smuggled into Lebanon's Zahle prison, state media reported Saturday.
The National News Agency said the unspecified amount of hashish was packed inside meat sandwiches, without providing any other details.
Guards at Zahle's prison have foiled a number of attempts to smuggle drugs into the jail in recent weeks.
Last month authorities discovered hashish that had been smuggled into the jail inside a box of sweets.
