There is a growing demand in learning Turkish language across the world, the head of the Turkish Language Association said.
"There is an increased demand in learning Turkish language across the world because the soap operas and movies produced in Turkey are sold to the world," said Gurer Gulsevin.
He asserted that the audience, who listen to the Turkish language, want to learn Turkish.
There are language centers that give Turkish language education in many countries, the head stated.
Gulsevin also warned against using foreign words not to spoil the language.
In 1928, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, introduced the current 29-letter Turkish alphabet replacing the previous Perso-Arabic script.
The Turkish Language Association was established just four years after the sudden alphabet change from Ottoman to Turkish script in 1928.
