The Dubai Police on Monday announced that a GCC national had been arrested for making a video of himself while he drove his car recklessly.
The police said on their official Twitter account that the young man was driving dangerously while the country witnessed heavy rainfall, and his reckless driving endangered the lives of others.

In the first part of the video, the man can be seen rapidly accelerating his car from a stationary position, as if it were a drag race, and then he can be seen drifting his car at a roundabout.
The police added that legal action was taken against the driver, and he was referred to the authorities concerned.
The police have warned motorists to follow traffic rules at all times.
