An international forum on Islamic art kicked off in Riyadh’s King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue this week, gathering together experts on Islamic art, as well as more than 200 pieces of art and artefacts.
The pieces on display originate from across the world, from Andalusia to Indonesia, and date from the 7th to the 19th century. The event featured a number of lectures and discussion circles about the magnificent collection.
The exhibition, which will wrap up on Saturday, features a number of different art forms, including illustrations, pottery, woodwork and furniture.
