The 3-seasons series gained a huge number of audience in Turkey and also in the middle east. The story is set in the 1960, it follows the dramatic changes to the lives of the Akarsu family after the patriarch's extra marital affair.

The story revolves around a  sea captain, Ali Akarsu, who is married to Jamilah and is a father of four children.

Everything is fine until Ali falls in love with a woman named Caroline, which shocks his whole family in many different ways.
