While most celebrities' kids are likely to inherit their parents' hard-earned fortunes, that's not the only thing these privileged children have written in their names.
For some, talent was written in their DNA code and they've grown up with an inherited skill that went on to make them stars in their own rights.
Here's a look at some of the Arab world's most well-known stars, whose children have followed in their famous' footsteps and made it to the top.
Famous parents: Iconic Lebanese singer Fairouz and musician Assi Rahbani
Ziad's showbiz career began with writing poetry. However, at 17, he presented Fairouz with a composition for her single "Sa'alooni El Nas" (People Have Asked Me), which went on to become one of his most famous compositions. He later went on to write satirical political plays and compose hundreds of breathtaking compositions.
Mohammed Adel Imam
Famous parent: Legendary Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam
Adel's kid didn't become an actor like his papa, but he sits around a filming set for a living. Mohammed is both a film and TV director. His first work was directing Egyptian actor Farouq al Fishawi in the TV drama "Canaria Wa Shorakah" (Canaria and his Partners).
Mai Nour el Sherif
Famou sparents: Late iconic Egyptian actor Nour el Sherif and actress Poussi
This young lady started her acting career at the age of 6 in the TV drama "Al Liqa'a Al Thani" (The Second Meeting). She then did her first film in 1990, after which she moved on to doing other things until starring alongside her father in the TV series "Al Dali" many years later.
Donia and Amy Samir Ghanem
Famous parents: Egyptian actors Samir Ghanem and Dalal Abdel Aziz
Samir and Dalal were blessed with two daughters who can act and have gone on to become much sought-after actresses in Egypt. While Amy entered showbiz in 2005, Donia kicked off her career at the age of 10 in the film "Imra'a Wa Imra'a" (Woman and Woman) in 1995. Donia is also a talented singer and was a judge on The X Factor Arabia in 2015.
Ahmad Farouq al Fishawi
Famous parents: Egyptian actors Farouq al Fishawi and Sumayya al Alfi
Luckily for Ahmad, his first acting job was with the late iconic actress Faten Hamama in the 2000 TV series "Wajh Al Qamar" (The Face of the Moon). This talented lad's first leading role was in the 2004 drama "Afareet Al Sayala," followed by his first ever leading film role in "Al Hassa Al Sabe'a" (The Seventh Sense).
