Syrian actor Abed Fahed has formally distanced himself from any unofficial social networking pages after anti-regime statements were posted on them. He's not the first Syrian actor to do this: Sulaf Fawakhirji, Karis Bashar, Basil Khayat and Milad Yousif have all claimed that fake anti-Assad posts are being made on their behalf.
Abed stressed that he didn't agree with the statements made on his Facebook site and asked posters to stop as it was causing him problems in Syria. Meanwhile, Abid is stil filming scenes for the second part of the television drama “Al Wilada Min Al Khasira” (Birth from the waist) with director Rasha Sharbatji. The drama, written by Samer Radwan, has been renamed “Saat al Jamr” (Hours of fire).
