It seemed fitting that the Egyptian so-called, 'King of Comedy', Adel Imam, was honored with gold on his trip to Iraq this week. Acting royalty, Imam, was given a gift befitting of a real-life monarch, when Kurdish officials gave the star a solid gold plate, weighing more than half a kilo.
Adel has been visiting the Kurdish area of Iraq for the past few days on the invitation of a businessman friend of his. The star has taken the time to speak out about the rights of Kurdish people while in the region and the people of Northern Iraq wanted to show their appreciation in gold!
