A major promotional campaign has been launched for the new film “Murjan Ahmad Murjan” which stars Egyptian comedian legend Adel Imam and diva Mirvat Amin. The production company Good News held a party similar to those, which are held in Hollywood for the Oscars and the Emmy Awards for the premier screening of the movie “Murjan Ahmad Murjan.”
Sexy Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi made a surprise appearance at the party, capturing the eyes of all who were there and the eyes of cameras for most satellite channels that were present to cover the grand event.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, scenarist Yousif Ma’ati made a short speech at the end of the event expressing his satisfaction with the outcome of the film and thanked all those who placed great efforts in making it. He revealed that the film tackles many social and political issues yet in a comedy way.
Comedian Adel Imam, who is known to always captures a wide range of fans in any film he plays in, yet he made sure that this time he shifts some of the spotlight on new young and fresh faces to capture the young generation of fans. The young actors who played as Imam’s kids were played by Sharif Salameh and actress Basma.
On the other hand Mirvat Amin was nervous before the showing of the movie, since it was her first after a prolonged absence. This movie brings the two prominent actors Adel and Mirvat together after 23 years. The new and young faces were very pleased and proud to stand against the two legends.
Sharif and Salma stated that the movie was a great learning experience for them and they feel that Adel Imam and Mirvat are a school by itself. Adding that to be given the chance to act with them is a one in a lifetime opportunity.
