It was certainly a star-studded affair, and Ahlam was in rare form among her A-listers at the Murex D'or Festival. And by rare form, we do mean she was oozing with sweetness and tight squeezes for her fellow celebs. We'll be honest this is not the Ahlam we envision in real life after all the drama and high-maintenance attitude she portrays on Arab Idol.
But apparently this Emirati diva is a lover, not a fighter. When she met up "The Lady" Carole Samaha at the event, she gushed, "this artist I love with all my heart and love her music and appearance on stage." Ahlam then spontaneously kissed Carole on the cheeks in admiration.
The feelings was clearly mutual because Carole responded with, "I too love you and love your personality and caring nature."
Ahlam then moved on to Egyptian actress Nelly Karim and told her, "I watched your recent Ramadan drama 'Sijin Al Nisa' (Women Prison) and I truly admire your acting talent".
Nelly answered her her compliment with, "I am also a big fan of yours and your appearance on the program 'Arab Idol'."
The Ramadan star also stated to Sayidaty.net that what she likes most about Ahlam is her spontaneous nature and good heart.
Ahlam also met with Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdel Nour and told her that she had watched her drama "Li'bat Mawt" (Death Game) that was aired last year and stated that she really touched her in the drama and made her cry in some of the scenes, referring to the scenes where Cyrine's character was subjected to domestic violence by her husband, who was played by Syrian actor Abed Fahed.
Ahlam sure was busy watching her holy month shows.
She tossed her fellow musicians some props too and sneaked in a side hug with Palestine's fave Arab Idol winner ever, Mohammad Assaf (pictured).
