The famous Egyptian actor Yehya Al Fakharani is looking to appear in a new television drama series that will be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season.

Al Fakharani previously announced that he would be working on his new film “Muhammad Ali,” but filming was postponed.

The production company ‘Good News’ decided to postpone filming the new movie because of its large budget. The film was written by Al Fakharani’s wife Dr. Lamis Jaber and it will be directed by the Syrian director Hatem Ali. The new film will also star famous Egyptian actress Mirvat Ameen and Ghada Abed Al Razaq.

Preparations for “Muhammad Ali” started in 2005, but the project was put on

hold for 4 years until director Hatem Ali brought it back to life two months ago. The director met with the film crew and started choosing sites for shooting the film.

For the time being Al Fakharani hopes the film will be ready for the 2010 Ramadan season.
