According to the London daily Elaph, the Egyptian artist Ali Al Hajar had agreed to sing the theme song for the new television drama series “October Al Akhar” (The Other October), directed by Egyptian director Ismail Abed Al Hafeth. The new series is being filmed and will be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season. Al Hajar is working with the musician Amar Al Shira’y and the songwriter Sayed Hijab to record the theme song in the near future.
The series “October Al Akher” was written by Fathi Diab and stars famous Egyptian actors Farouq Al Fishawi, Bosy and Nihal Anbar. The story revolves around the changes that took place in the Egyptian society after the 1973 October War.
Al Hajar also sung the theme song for the television drama series “Sanawat Al Hob Wal Malih” (Years of Love and Salt).
