ALBAWABA - Egyptian singer Amr Diab was criticized after he was caught in a video calling his driver an "animal".
Fans were shocked by the behavior of Amr Diab who was searching for his personal driver after leaving the “Saudi Egyptian Nights” concert, which was held on Sunday, at the Egyptian Opera House in Cairo.
Upon his departure from the Opera House, Diab was searching for his driver and when he missed finding him he described him as an "animal," when he said: "Our animal, where is the driver?"
Fans and online users heavily slammed the behavior of Amr Diab, adding that what he did was "inappropriate".
Erem News reported that Lebanese journalist Elie Merheb wrote on his Instagram, commenting on the circulating video of the Egyptian singer: "Amr Diab’s lack of morals."
A person posted on X (formerly Twitter): "Amr Diab’s personality is really very, very bad.. He treats people very cruelly, with mockery, belittlement, and lack of taste, and he also insults the driver who works for him, why doesn’t anyone speak about him instead of focusing only on Egyptian singer Sherine?"
