Runner up to Mohammad Assaf Egyptian contestant Ahmad Jamal shocked people in Egypt with his loss of the title.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, Ahmad posted a big Facebook announcement that Lebanese singer and Arab Idol judge Nancy Ajram has surprised him by announcing that her business manager Jiji Lamara has chosen to adopt his talent and be his business manager also.
Nancy took to social media as well and tweeted after the program ended her congratulations to Mohammad Assaf on his victory and wished Ahmad Jamal and Syrian runner up Farah Yousif better luck.
She said, "Congratulations to Mohammad Assaf for winning the title of 'Arab Idol', and God willing he will be a big and famous star shinning throughout the Arab world", she continued, "Farah and Ahmad you are both stars and do not forget that the entire Arab world knows you through Arab Idol and this is the beginning of your journey to stardom and I wish you the best of luck."
