"Arabs Got Talent" contestant Yasmina El-Elwany was in a car accident on her way home from a concert she held at the Cairo Opera House earlier this week.
The young Egyptian singer's father and eldest sister accompanied her in the vehicle during the incident. She was traveling down the highway when her car began swerving before ultimately crashing. Everyone in the car remained safe and only sustained minor injuries, but the vehicle was not so fortunate. Her car was totaled in the accident.
According to Laha magazine, Yasmina and her family were taken to hospital to be examined, but were given a clean bill of health and sent home.
This incident isn't holding the hopeful star down. She is determined to complete her journey on "Arabs Got Talent" as she moves on to the finals.
She's got her fans backing her up too. As soon as they heard the news, they were all over her Facebook and Twitter wishing her well and hopes for safety.
