Lebanese producer Simon Asmar wasn’t afraid to show his admiration for the TV host Hala Sarhan after being away from television for many months. He admires her for her talent in hosting a show without making any types of mistakes while on air for two straight hours.
According to the London daily Elpah, Hala Sarhan was chosen to be the host for another TV show called “5 Njoom” (5 Stars). Fans were patiently waiting to see how Hala Sarhan would be after being away for months. The new show is unique on its own, where the gust of the show will be well-known celebrities from show business. Sarhan will reveal her guest’s intelligence and how she/he is connected to the Arab world around them.
The first guest on the show was Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Saqa. Al Saqa wanted to change the show’s name from “5 Stars” to “Qanat Al Bani Admeen” (Real Human’s Channel). Al Saqa talked about his adventures especially about his eye accident while filming one of his movies. He surprised his fans at the show with his beautiful voice where he sang three Lebanese songs that were famous in the 80’s.
As always Hala looked her best where she wore a long black dress by ‘Ferre’ and a blue necklace for good luck. Sarhan wished for a successful show and to live in a peaceful world with no hate and lies. The new show “5 Stars” is entertaining and viewers don’t get bored from it.
When the show’s first episode finished Al Saqa welcomed his fans to take pictures with him and they also took his signature. On the other hand the crew of Hala Sahan from Cairo all came to Beirut to be there with her for her first episode on ‘Rotana Music’. They wanted to show support and that they stand by he, where they paid for their trip from their own money.
Asala Nasri was Sarhan’s guest for the second episode of the new show. Asala opened the program by singing the famous recitation “Tala’ Al Bader Alina” (The Full Moon Has Risen) since the show is aired during Ramadan. Asala wanted to name the show “Al Ma Been Been” (So So); she justifies the naming for the balance in her life now.
Asala sang for the late singer Raja Blmlih the song “Sabri Alik Tal” (My Patience with Exceeded). Asala felt sad for the death of Raja where she personally met with her in America.
Asala talked about her marriage life and her trust in her husband. She added that she refuses to be hurt by anyone no matter how close that person is. During the show Asala sang “Helwa Ya Baladi” (My Country: You Are Beautiful) for the late singer Dalida. The song choked Sarhan because it hit her on the wound. As if Asala’s song wasn’t enough for Sarhan then comes a phone call from the writer Wahid Hamed were he told that Egypt hurts its people without meaning to. He asked her to come back home to Egypt. Sarhan answered him that she was hurt by Egypt where there was no wrongdoing from her side.
