Lebanese singer Assi Hillani announced that he will begin shooting a new music video for his song “Habibi” (My Love) featuring scenes from a number of concerts he performed during the year 2002. The singer also revealed that he will be participating in a number of festival around the Arab world where he will perform a collection of his newest songs including a few old ones, the London based Elaph reported.

January 5th marked the one-year anniversary of Hillani’s website. The website was created in order for fans of the singer to always be updated with the latest news and photographs of Assi and also provides his personal email address through which people can send letters freely. The singer celebrated the occasion by providing new photographs for the site.

In September 2002, Assi miraculously escaped death after a tragic car crash in one of the streets of the Lebanese capital city of Beirut. "Looking at my car, I can't believe that I came out of it alive," Hillani said, indicating the huge crash his car has faced. "I think no one would have come out of this car alive, but I thank God that I did," he added.

Right after the crash, Hillani was sent to the hospital in order to get all necessary aids. He refused to file any report toward the young man, who was responsible for the crash, though confirmed that he is feeling sad for the loss of his new car.
