Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zughbi this month participated in the annual festival held at the Sporting Club in Monaco, becoming the first Arab singer to perform at the well-known tourist resort.
A number of world-famous musicians have also participated in the international festival, which kicked of July 29, including Diana Ross, Julio Iglesias, Vanessa Mae, James Brown, Vanessa Paradis and Patrick Bruel.
Some nine hundred people attended Zughbi’s concert on August 10, paying between $600-$1,000 for their tickets.
The concert organizer, Toros Siranosian told the London-based daily Al Hayat that the famous club chose the Lebanese singer based on a precise study about Arab stars – Albawaba.com
